HELPING UKRAINE

Give emergency aid in Ukraine

We are two best friends who grew up in Kiev, and are now proud US citizens.
We are Dr. Alex Golubenko, MS, DPT, CWC, CWT, Founder of Back to Health PT, PC and partner at JAG ONE Physical and Occupational Therapy, and Dr. Gennady Bratslavsky, MD Chairman of Urology at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and Oncologic Urologist.
We are determined to do everything we can in order to HELP FREE UKRAINE. We met when we were 12 years old and became best friends. Today, we are both blessed to be citizens of the USA and enjoy our freedoms. To be able to sleep at night, knowing that our kids, family and friends are safe. However, our peaceful worlds were forever changed on February 24th, 2022 at 4am.

For the first few days we were in shock and could not believe what we were witnessing. We then realized that we could not just sit and watch the news 24/7, feeling helpless, while the country that we were born and grew up in, was being destroyed, torn apart piece by piece. We have donated money to friends, family, non-profit organizations and hospitals. Realizing that this won’t be enough, and hearing from others who were willing to help, but didn’t know how, we have set up a fund specifically for the purpose of helping Ukraine. 100% of donations are sent directly to our contacts on the ground in Ukraine. No middlemen, no third party carriers.

One example: our friend Alex Rogovoy, is a pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Kiev. He stayed behind to help and set up an urgent care/triage facility at his house. He also still operates at the Children’s hospital and helps in any way he can. The hospital is running low on medical supplies and they need money to purchase basic necessities, like clean drinking water, blankets, and food since a lot of the little patients are now sheltering in the basement. Supplies of insulin and other medications are shrinking, medical equipment is scarce. Kyiv City Clinical Children Hospital #2 and NCI Ukraine (National Cancer Institute of Ukraine) were the first two hospitals to receive the funds collected.

We know we can do more!

Please help...by donating, by sharing this message with your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Spreading the word is just as important!
